Temperatures typically stay between 40-58°C, but fans suddenly increase to 100% and the machine shuts off despite normal temps.
Welcome to the forums, newcomer! It might be worth checking if your laptop needs a BIOS update. After that, take apart the laptop and swap out the thermal paste and pads for better quality options. I searched online and found that Clevo laptops seem to have some issues. The ones you own are often affected by fan problems, which can range from a broken fan to excessive noise. It could also be the motherboard, where certain power delivery parts are overheating and leading to thermal shutdown.
Could a power delivery component appear in the temperature sensor?
I refreshed the bios, polished the heatsink, and swapped out the thermal paste.
