You're experiencing issues where your PC frequently crashes after booting from HOTSEAT or full power, especially on Windows 8.1 Pro. This could be due to driver conflicts, background processes, or hardware instability. Checking for recent updates, disabling startup programs, and ensuring all drivers are up to date might help.

none of these, my PC has been with me since November and it only recently began functioning after upgrading to Windows 8.1 Pro, though I haven’t installed anything yet.

Corsair link is already installed. I initially assumed it might be an older version, but the latest one still causes the issue.
