You're experiencing issues with gameplay recording in OBS due to resolution mismatches. Try adjusting the source resolution in OBS to match your monitor's native display, and ensure the output settings are correctly set for 1080p. Also, check if the game's input resolution is being scaled down improperly.

The 290 resolution at 1440p seems a bit high, especially when considering streaming quality.

In the game I play, I rarely reach below 50 frames per second and don’t see any issues, yet the video still lags.

Share your observation settings. The second part seems related to scaling error.

J2Bm1 is experiencing issues similar to OBS, displaying only a portion of the screen. On the opposite side, the settings labeled "enable CBR padding" are applied. The aspect ratio remains consistent at 16:9 across different resolutions like 1440p and 1080p.

Navigate to Edit Scene, select the source (verify correct source), go to Position/Size and choose Fit to Screen. Currently your source remains at monitor resolution, so adjust it to match your scene's 1920x1080 resolution. Avoid using Monitor Capture for game footage; instead, use Game Capture or Window Capture.
