There is this sound that I believe comes from the power supply unit, as it only begins when my GPU draws a lot of power.
I've had this PSU for about a year, but I didn't pay much attention to it until recently, around four or five months ago. Since then, I haven't been using anything too intensive.
I'm wondering if I should be concerned? Am I being overly worried about the noise? Could it be coil whine or something else?
The sound is quite clear to me, not just in the recording. If you can't hear it, try using headphones and increasing the volume.
My PSU model is an EVGA 500w BR.

This BR power is driven by a specific CPU and GPU configuration.

Reduce power for a louder transformer. Needs coilwire. It won't damage anything. The sound bothers me. Perhaps switch the PSU to a higher-quality model since the EVGA BR is quite basic.

Sure, just to clarify—do you need a PSU recommendation?

The availability of PSUs varies by country. Do you have a link to a webshop for them?
