After restarting my PC, I noticed it began displaying Asus Q Code 18, which likely indicates a memory pre-initialization issue. However, it doesn’t appear consistently every time. If I restart the system several times, it can boot into BIOS and exit to Windows, but once back in Windows, Q Code 18 reappears. I’ve attempted various fixes such as reseating RAM, swapping slots, using a single stick, and resetting CMOS. These changes temporarily resolved the problem. It’s worth mentioning that I modify some BIOS settings, like enabling DOCP II, and both I and II versions produce the same effect—Q Code 18 appears. My system runs AMD Eco mode at 65W with a negative curve optimizer set to 5. Could these configurations be contributing to the issue?

Have you checked if the BIOS was updated? It seems the RAM is set to XMP, not AMD EXPO. If XMP is active, try disabling it.

It's DOCP on Asus motherboards, but I attempted to disable it and it worked fine, so I verified my BIOS and reinstalled it. I believed I had the latest version, but it seems I missed an update. After updating the BIOS, it functions properly, allowing me to boot into Windows without Code 18. However, I still can't utilize my RAM at its full capacity; it requires a 6000MHz setting to boot.

The Ryzen 7000 model shows improved memory handling, yet using non-expo RAM at speeds above 6000MHz remains inconsistent.
