You're just beginning streaming and looking for the right OBS settings. With your specs—i7 4790K, GTX 770, Corsair H100i—it's likely you can handle higher resolutions. Decide between 720p or 1080p based on your bandwidth and device capabilities. For bitrate and FPS, aim for a balance that matches your internet speed; 1080p at 60fps is common for good quality. If you're unsure, start with 1080p 60fps and adjust later. No worries if this isn't the right place—just share more details and I’ll help!

It seems like you're suggesting a resolution of 1080p might be achievable.

I understand my ability but am unsure if there will be sufficient space for gaming. My upload speed is 12 Mbps.

Have you encountered any restrictions on data transfer speeds?

Which titles? If they don’t require much effort, NVEC can handle most processing on the GPU. If they need more power, 1080p is still feasible.

Consider your needs and preferences when choosing your bitrate, resolution, and FPS. Adjust them based on your device capabilities and desired video quality.

My configuration matches yours with a few differences—specifically using a 3770K and an ASUS GTX 770. I primarily play BF4 at low/medium settings. I set the bitrate to 3500 and use CBR with buffer size and padding. After downscaling to 720p and 60FPS with Lanczos, I configured x264 CPU preset to veryfast and verified the CFR. These are the settings I've consistently applied without any issues (I began test streaming about three weeks ago).
