You're facing some challenges with finding solutions for AMD hardware in OBS. It seems the available results focus mainly on NVIDIA options. You might need to explore AMD-specific tools or community forums for your needs.

What graphics card are you using? Avoid mentioning the RX 6500 XT.

Use FFMPEG VAAPI for AMD. OBS-Studio Settings Output → Advanced Encoder → FFMPEG VAAPI VAAPI Device → ___YOUR_GPU__

It was one of the search results, but it didn’t turn out well. It felt vague. I wondered if there was a better option.

It might be confusing to have both drivers. I’m trying to understand it better.

Due to the AMD Graphics Stack design, AMDGPU-PRO is positioned above AMDGPU which is perfectly acceptable. The main issue you'll encounter is choosing an implementation not optimized for your needs. For example, Steam Proton might prefer AMDVLK over RADV when using Vulkan, potentially causing a less ideal experience. To manage environment exports refer to https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Vulkan#...MD_drivers

Arch Linux concepts might fit Pop_OS, but I still find parts confusing. Online guides often feel too complex or unclear.
