The details about the release of NZXT cam are limited beyond the official page. The Android update has been postponed twice, and there isn’t much discussion around it. It might just mean NZXT needs additional time to refine the software before launching cam as their initial offering.

This program runs inefficiently and often causes performance issues. It uses excessive system resources when not in use and may lead to noticeable slowdowns.

This has been really frustrating. I've been really excited since the announcement of Cam on Android. But with all the delays, my interest is slipping away even after the release. I know companies need time to fix issues, but two setbacks have pushed it back more than expected. C'mon, Nzxt, be honest and don't promise release times that can't be met.

It functions quite effectively for me, though it can feel a bit sluggish occasionally—it still works. @ Enderman I only notice 1 to 5 frames per second in most games and don’t see lag spikes from the camera anymore. The improvements will come over time, and I appreciate the UI because it’s responsive when it comes to navigation. As the first version of NZXTs software, I’m testing it to demonstrate my interest.

@ Bansh33 The postponement isn't too important to me since I have time to wait. I'm more frustrated because they don't explain the reason clearly. I just try to guess what they mean.

I've observed images from individuals in CAM utilizing between 15 to 70% of their processing power.

It runs smoothly at 2 to 10% usage, varying with other applications.
