NVMe SSD fails to start Windows during initial boot settings
I assembled my setup 29 days prior and everything functioned well. Experienced some challenges installing Windows 11 last week but completed it correctly. Today my machine froze during a gaming session—about 40 minutes of playtime, then I used roughly nine hours in total without issues. I started work today and encountered a problem with the motherboard logo; nothing responded and I couldn’t reach the BIOS settings. I verified RAM and HDD but found no faults. When I swapped out my Kingston NV2 500GB NVMe drive (the boot disk), I could enter BIOS successfully. I then used an older SATA SSD running Windows 10, which only worked when the NVMe wasn’t installed. After installing Windows 10 on that SSD, I booted from it and then switched to Windows 10 via the SATA drive. Restarting and pressing F12 to access the boot menu resolved the issue. Once more, the system froze again. After formatting and reinstalling Windows 11 on the NVMe, the first attempt still caused a freeze. I don’t have any clear information about the hardware specifications.
No, I didn't remove or disconnect any other drives during the NVMe installation.
I checked each test cycle and found no exceptions—only the NVMe was active during the initial boot. After a fresh Windows 11 setup, the only connected device was the NVMe, completely reset.
