Used Linux on a PC, then switched to Windows. Cleared partitions and created a new one. After setup, PC restarted but kept trying to install Windows again. It didn’t recognize the SSD at all. Tried BIOS and Disk Management on another machine, but it froze when logged in. The SSD only showed up on the first PC. Need advice or help.

It makes sense if it fails on both systems and triggers errors, likely indicating a problem.

It was definitely using Linux prior to installing Windows. Was it possible that Windows could disrupt everything?

They often disappear abruptly, not following a clear pattern. Have you attempted to start a Linux installation from a USB drive to check for detection?

Have you attempted to install disk controller drivers prior to setting up Windows during the disk selection process?
