I put the Samsung 990 pro 2tb into the second M.2 port on my laptop, but I'm worried it might disconnect when the device powers off. I've updated the SSD firmware and refreshed my system BIOS to the newest release. The disk settings are set to never sleep, and all tests confirm the drive works perfectly. It doesn't appear in disk management or device manager when it fails to show. The only solution is restarting the computer, which clears the issue. Whenever it doesn't show up, an error pops up in Event Viewer and the disk is removed right away. Anyone have suggestions on how to fix this? My laptop is a 2024 Lenovo Legion Pro 7 with an i9-14900hX, 4080 mobile processor, and 32GB RAM.
