I'm attempting to set up Windows 10 on my HP ProBook x360 11 G5 Education Edition using an NVMe drive. The Windows RE isn't recognizing it, and I need to update the SSD I'm using.

NVME and SATA represent distinct communication standards. The device that functions is SATA, while the 980 model uses NVME. A replacement SATA M.2 is necessary.

I purchase my SSD based on this understanding, since examining the port's keys reveals an M key, which corresponds to PCIe x4/SATA and typically supports NVMe. It seems unlikely this would be a driver issue.
