Hello, I just received my two BenQ PD3200Q monitors and added them to my existing BL3200PT. Each screen supports a max resolution of 2560 x 1440. My graphics card is an Asus ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1080 Ti. The PD3200Qs are linked through DisplayPort connections, while the BL3200PT uses HDMI. This setup matches my card’s two DP ports and two HDMI inputs. The problem is that my available resolution is capped at 5760 x 1080. How can I make the HDMI display switch to 2560 x 1440 in Surround mode so it can reach 7680 x 1440?
You have three 3440x1440 Acer Predators X34P units. You require three dedicated DP ports. It might work to utilize the integrated graphics DP port along with a pass-through solution.

I discovered that my resolution cap comes from the HDMI connection's bandwidth when using Surround mode. Standard mode works fine. Multiple 1080p monitors in Surround mode are easy to combine. Higher resolutions need faster DisplayPort connections. I'm not sure if HDMI 2.0 can handle those specs (check me on that), but the PD3200Q only supports HDMI 1.4. Updated August 8, 2019 by Jurunce

Using CRU revealed a timing mismatch between the BenQ BL3200PT and PD3200Q screens. To align everything properly, set up three displays using Custom Resolution Utility, copy the desired resolution and timing from your preferred device, and apply them to the others. This ensures NVIDIA drivers recognize all displays as having the same specs (excluding native resolution and refresh rate), allowing full resolution access. For reference, these settings were used to achieve 7680x1440: Spoiler Timing with manual parameters, including sync width, blanking, polarity, and clock speeds. The default refresh is 59.950 Hz.
