I really enjoy shadowplay for capturing game clips. It doesn’t impact my frame rate and I don’t feel as much frustration when saving. But there’s a significant problem affecting my experience. After playing the same game for about half an hour, the recording starts to lag. I’ve configured it to save the final five minutes whenever I press save, but sometimes I end up getting the last five minutes until just before the button is pressed—like two minutes earlier than expected. For instance, if I want to record from -5 minutes to the keypress, I get -7 to -2 minutes instead. Anyone else have faced this issue? Do you know a solution? I’ve updated to the newest version but the problem persists. I’ve tried recording at 1080p and 720p at 60 or 30 FPS, with and without audio. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! I’ve searched extensively but haven’t found anything specific about this, or maybe I’m looking in the wrong place.
