I recently purchased a new laptop and set up GeForce Experience. There’s a feature called "Nvidia highlights" now included in Fortnite by Epic Games. I’m curious whether keeping it enabled in the background will impact my in-game FPS. If it does, how much will it reduce? This could be why I’m seeing 50-60 FPS, which is too low for a game like Fortnite since drops below 60 affect aiming. I want to know the exact performance loss if I leave it on.

You might notice a slight decrease in performance when using Shadowplay, but it should remain stable at no more than one or two frames per second. This discussion provides more details on the subject.
