nvidia error 43, please help
After four hours of experimenting, I finally achieved PCI-e passthrough on my system. However, my NVIDIA card is still reporting error 43. I've already followed the steps from this forum post: https://forum.level1techs.com/t/ubuntu-1...rc1/119639, but it didn't resolve the issue. I'm running Linux Mint 19 with Windows 10 home inside a VM, and my hardware specs match the original configuration.
the situation isn't important right now. i gave up. i replaced the gtx 1050 with an rx460, and it functions perfectly.
Windows operates within a virtual environment, ensuring any issues remain concealed.
It makes sense. Nvidia GeForce cards aren’t supported by virtualization. Even the most basic older Quadros models can’t be made functional anymore. Now you’re left with either an AMD card or switching to Tesla/GRID solutions.
I also gave it a shot, but it didn't go through. What do you think?
It's about how the system handles virtual hardware. Once it identifies it, access is blocked permanently. There are no possible solutions around it now.
