you don’t need a 3d monitor and plan to avoid getting one soon. some users say 3d drivers might impact frame rates, so removing them could help. i managed to delete the 3d vision driver, but the controller and hd audio drivers remain—unable to remove those either. booting into safe mode didn’t resolve the issue. consider checking if the drivers are still active or contacting the manufacturer for further assistance.

Don't worry about m8, it's just going to cause your driver to behave oddly without causing real damage if you let it go. I'm really into this too and can confirm they're safe to leave in. Plus, you won't be able to fully remove it since certain components are part of the main driver code.

Through the games I've played and had FPS open, I was achieving solid FPS numbers. It wasn't something I needed to remove from my list. Lol, you're right—if I couldn't take that one off, it's likely part of the real driver. Thanks!

Using 3D changes your FPS, so these drivers influence frame rates. It doesn’t really matter if they’re on or off!

I discovered something now... While updating my driver, I noticed something. When installing your NVIDIA driver, choosing "Custom Installation" lets you pick which features to add. I’m not sure if this applies only to I GeForce Experience, but it seems to be true. You should definitely give it a try if you want that level of control. Just remember this might not work, and the old driver could still be present, requiring you to remove the entire package.
