I just completed a build and downloaded windows 11. The problem is the GeForce app isn't installing my GPU drivers, and it gives an error after pressing express installation. How can I fix that? Also, my display adapter is showing Microsoft basic display adaptor (error code 31) with my GPU, 4070 TI. What should I do to resolve this?
What are the remaining specifications and power supply details? The video cable is connected to the motherboard, possibly via integrated graphics.

I did, when prompted for the MSI drivers utility, install the essentials, unchecking Aida and Norton, as well as the MSI center. Updated Windows, restarted the PC, and checked for further updates, but installed those again and still faced the same problem. In Device Manager, the display adapter lists Microsoft generic display adapter (with an error 31) and My 4070 TI. The drivers appear to be from a year ago, and after installing Geforce and clicking Update Drivers, I chose Express install or Custom, but after a few seconds it reported an installation issue.

The display is linked to the GPU, I experience stable connection with no errors or boot problems.
However, I observe that during a power-off, the mouse and keyboard fail to activate automatically; I had to press the power button to bring it back to life.
Have you attempted to install Nvidia drivers with administrator privileges? Ensure you have the Windows 11 Nvidia driver installed, not the older version. Sometimes the OS driver can cause issues. The 10 driver may function but occasionally encounters problems.
Verify that the bios is current. Also, as before, execute the installer with administrator privileges (right-click).
