You're comparing DLSS AI Super Resolution and DLAA in Forza Horizon 5. Both enhance visuals, but they work differently—one boosts resolution while the other improves detail. Personally, DLAA tends to offer sharper results with less performance hit, while DLSS can be more versatile across lighting conditions. Which one you prefer depends on your gaming experience and what looks best on your screen.

DLSS operates the game at a reduced internal resolution while enhancing performance to lessen the impact of lower-res settings. DLAA keeps the original resolution but tries to handle anti-aliasing more efficiently without relying on resource-heavy methods like MSAA. With FH5, graphical settings are quite problematic right now, making it hard to suggest any other AA technique besides TAA or DLAA (which is exclusive to RTX cards). I personally used MSAA and FXAA together, but they’ve been removed, leaving the game’s visual quality very poor.

Thanks for your input. It seems DLAA could offer a more visual improvement or might be one of the alternatives like TAA or MSAA. You're aiming for the highest graphics settings and haven't used an RTX card before, so you're curious about options that boost performance and quality. The video you watched about DLDSR (likely Nvidia DLSS AI Super Resolution) appeared to enhance visuals while also improving frame rates, though it does seem to run at a lower resolution than native settings.
