Hello, I just purchased Gigabyte's version of the 970 (Gigabyte GXT 970 G1 Gaming). I haven't encountered any issues yet, but when I overclock (150+ cores, 200+ memory) every half hour or so, I receive a message saying: "Nvidia kernel driver has stopped responding and has successfully recovered!" My screen displays random colors and it doesn't respond to commands like Ctrl+Alt+Delete or Ctrl+Alt+Esc. Could this be related to my SP-S500W power supply? Thanks!

Hi,
What other components are there?
The PSU might not provide sufficient power, which caused the drivers and overclocks to stop. I experienced this before; it seems to be either a driver or a PSU issue. I used a 430w XFX PSU and it limited my performance significantly. If you're facing the same problem, consider switching drivers first, and if that doesn't resolve it, you might attribute it to a PSU fault.
Hope this helps, feel free to reach out if you need further assistance.
Thanks,
Simon
