There’s a problem that’s hard to diagnose. I’ve used two different setups. The i7 6700 rx580 with 12 gigabytes of RAM, and the Ryzen 1700 and GTX 1050 Ti. On the i7, I keep losing progress in games—especially online ones. I just return to the lobby without any warning. Some titles don’t even connect to external servers to retrieve my account, making them unusable. The Ryzen model suffers from random freezes and blue screens, which usually point to insufficient RAM. After running a RAM test (8+ hours) all passed, I still faced issues. Benchmarks like Prime95 showed no crashes during stress tests, but the blue screen kept changing. I thought pairing the RX 580 with the Ryzen would help, so I swapped them. Now the RX 580 runs at full utilization during gameplay, then drops to zero, causing noticeable frame drops and freezes. This happens in several games—not just one. Minecraft at 1080p low with OptiFine on shows 80 FPS and frequent dips. I’ve reinstalled drivers, tried the recommended ones, even changed the power supply. Still, the same problem persists. My PC and router need five restarts for a game to connect.
It could be related to the motherboard in an unexpected way. How did you end up with these systems? Did you assemble them using salvaged components? Many players face restrictions when joining gaming communities and must discard their gear to start anew. What others don’t realize is that the new hardware might already be flagged by platforms, preventing access regardless of who uses it. Some services check the source system and block certain motherboards permanently, making it a universal issue.

If the 1700X was blue screening before installation, the issue might lie with the motherboard, though it's hard to confirm without checking each part. Swapping the RAM suggests a motherboard or CPU problem. A hot CPU indicates a bigger concern. Avoid the B450 board—it won't work well with newer Ryzen chips, particularly Zen3, and it also needs better VRM cooling.
