You can check your chipset information by looking at the motherboard manual, using manufacturer websites, or checking system settings on your computer.

It's been a while since I've been using Windows 11. I don't recall it well—some system details keep popping up. My mind keeps thinking about this computer, but I think it's more Mac-related. It shouldn't be too tough to find help.

Are you using OS8 or win8? If you're still on win8, that could be the issue. Updated December 15, 2022 by Bombastinator

You can check which windows you're using in the same location. Win8 felt unusual, as Microsoft had attempted several fixes that didn’t succeed. There’s a separate set of squares and controls. I try to steer clear of it. Windows 8 and 8.1 haven’t received security updates for a while, which is a small blessing. Given the machine’s age, it might still be running Windows XP.

The section labeled “mainboard” contains details about the motherboard. The CPU section is displaying that the 4790 appears to be functioning properly.

It's a fresh idea for me. A PCIe 2 graphics card. That feels outdated. Maybe your motherboard has some quirks due to age. Updated on December 15, 2022 by Bombastinator

Cpuz doesn’t provide details about the operating system in use. It’s purely hardware-related. I checked the icons and they resemble Windows 10. That might be a minor oversight.
