After my 22-year Steam ban was lifted, I filed a refund request on May 8th. They denied it, so I’m understanding that. Eight days later, they finally accepted all my refunds—despite my ban still being active. When I checked my account balance at that time, I noticed the money was already there before my ban. I’ve since retired, but the issue remains. Looking at my purchase history, I bought HLD and didn’t run out of funds. The refund for those games was processed, but I never received it. I don’t want to waste time on the Steam wallet refund since I didn’t ask for that either. My last Steam community market transaction shows 0.66, yet it still lists as 0.66. This clearly isn’t a processing error. Both games were removed from my library, and I haven’t received the money. Where did it go? I’m not sure what to do next. I’ve already submitted a ticket, but they just confirmed it twice—still no resolution.
You've received multiple refunds from Steam, and it seems you're aiming to save every penny. Valve reserves the right to refuse any refund due to possible misuse. Just accept the situation and look for better opportunities.
Given what he went through before, it’s possible they made some mistakes when fixing his account. If nothing changes after a couple of weeks and no refund comes, maybe it’s worth accepting the $25.
