I believe we've moved beyond the era of "if it's not dark it's brown." Now we're focusing on characters with real flaws. It seems like a natural part of growing up, especially for someone trying to discover their identity. I don't mind when other franchises tackle similar themes, but Master Chief is off-limits. Perhaps if another company takes over the rights, I'll reclaim this story.

The situation shows a significant evolution in 343i since its inception, driven by both storytelling skill and advancements in technology. I understand your stance not to back the studio on faith, yet their direction leans heavily toward overly optimistic narratives, drawing more from the Haloverse resources than Bungie originally provided. Not all members of the 343i team are newcomers—some have ties to Bungie. Presenting two separate storylines is an intriguing approach, though it has already caused some fans to feel left out. The tension created by conflicting outcomes will be something we’ll need to manage, especially given the series’ long-term commitment into the next decade.

Numerous people have said they have branching narratives, but few actually deliver. Take the recent Mass Effect titles as an example. I noticed storylines could involve government conspiracies, offering a wide range of dramatic possibilities if that direction is pursued. The landscape is shifting; we chose MC because he was one of the final heroes. Now he’s missing. We’ve lost sight of why we see ourselves as the hero and have shifted to accepting reality.

I'm excited about this too. Lazy Game Reviews called it promising, and Starcraft is definitely on the list. The campaigns with Blizzard RTS games always bring me joy. AC Syndicate is out of pre-order, but I’m ready to invest if needed. We’ll find out if they can improve things. Regarding AAA games reaching $80 CAD, it’s a big question. I was willing to spend for Assassin’s Creed, but I think they need more engaging content beyond just collecting fragments.

Just Cause 3 will dominate the scene. JC2 was ahead of its era. JC3 promises great performance.
