NotoStartup.exe triggers frequent crashes every few hours.
This machine is roughly six months old and has remained stable until recently. During that period, no updates were applied that would clearly explain the issue. All configurations are set to default—no modifications made. The main concern is that every 1–2 hours it crashes with blue screens displaying codes like SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION and KERNEL_MODE_HEAP_CORRUPTION. Minidump data from BlueScreenView consistently points to NtosKrnl.exe. Monitoring tools confirm Windows appears unresponsive, having restarted after a bugcheck (0x0000003b). I’ve tried searching for driver updates but found none. I ran sfc /scannow, checked the disk with chkdsk, performed a memory test, reinstalled Windows, updated BIOS, and even used a ram stick one at a time—still no resolution. The system booted from a clean image, but crashes persist. I reset the CMOS and followed all advice given. Right now I feel stuck and frustrated.
Hardware: AMD Ryzen 9 7900, 12-core processor, ASRock B650 PRO ATX motherboard, Gigabyte EAGLE OC, GeForce RTX 4080, 16 GB RAM (31.1 GB free), G.Skill Trident Z5, Corsair HX1000 power supply, 80+ Platinum certified. OS: Windows 11 Home 23H2, version 22631.2861.
I’m not particularly skilled at breaking down Minidumps, but I noticed a pattern across most of them—except for one file. All but one show the crash was linked to rlvknlg.exe. This process name keeps showing up in the stack and context lines. There’s also a mention of NT-related errors around chunk splitting and heap allocation, which might be worth looking into further.
