I've been eager for Windows 10, and recently others mentioned you can reserve the update. I downloaded all the latest patches, including Internet Explorer, just to be safe, but I didn<|pad|> to get no notification. When I checked my update log, it wasn't there, and the site suggested I could manually download it, but only provided general instructions. Do others have similar issues?
I checked for updates, even though it was already done, and to my surprise, the update was available. Thanks Microsoft for the broken Windows update!
I got a message from Windows with a reservation link for Windows 10...
I also secured my backup now. I also learned the official release date is July 29 (likely when your reserved download becomes available).
