I believe some individuals struggle to understand the different levels within the ranks, such as viewing Silver and Nova Master as interchangeable, or seeing GNM as similar to MG. Silver operates much like any standard game—like in Battlefield or Call of Duty—where players grasp the basics but haven't fully mastered the mechanics. The initial shift would likely appear with GN2-3. Focus on aiming and situational awareness defines GNM; MG1 remains quite similar. MG2 shows a noticeable skill gap compared to MG1, with quicker reactions, improved spray control, and sharper decision-making. They often try different strategies in each round, which may seem minimal to outsiders. MGE marks the stage where tactics become clearer—knowing when to use smokes or crosshair placement is key. MG2 still varies a lot, while MGE offers more consistency. Low DMG indicates a newcomer to MGE, needing around 7 wins (or 6 based on performance) to climb. This level is often called The Master of Disaster for a reason: at DMG, some players outperform the rank, while others struggle so much they should return to Nova. MGE is quite unpredictable, with players who either excel or falter, rarely falling in between. Legendary Eagle is similar, just with fewer errors and tighter aim. The Master of Legendary Eagle is significantly more consistent, showing better aim, consistency, and teamwork. SMFC-GE is comparable—expect intense competition against seasoned pros who invest thousands of hours into CS 1.6 and Pro. At this level, skill levels are high, but the ranks don’t always reflect it. For now, I’m still at a lower tier, Silver 3, currently ranked DMG.

The CS:GO ranking is really messed up now, especially after the Smurfs Gold Nova Master was banned. I've been stuck here because there are too many of them. And honestly, I don't think I'm good enough to get out.

I’m LEM but lack understanding of the game. I struggle with decision-making but my accuracy and reflexes are exceptional. I’m not familiar with most positions either. Exceptions always arise.

The ranking system has become really confusing after the update. I managed to win 10 games, but the one game with loose was instantly taken out of rank globally. Also, my Loom game dropped two spots from LEM right when I wrote this.

I've moved past worrying about my rank now. Just got my GE back after the recent changes, played a quick match with some DMG's—it feels like facing old Nova again, honestly. Everyone rushing forward with p90s and pistols, never stopping while spraying. I'm just sitting there, jaw dropped, wondering what I'm really watching. This game has so many split strategies that it's hard to keep a proper ranking, just try not to fall into bad habits.

I don’t like the P90, even though it serves its purpose, and I’m really bad at it—just a rifler or AWPer.

Based on what I've noticed, most content from Nova 4 - MGE remains consistent. DMG is where you begin improving. Silver 1-3's follow the same patterns, as do Silver Elite and Nova 2's and 3's. This is just from my own experience.
