Noticing frequent USB connection and disconnection noises while the screen is off or in an inactive state
I've observed the same issue on a work PC: after the screen powers down, you're met with repeated connect/disconnect noises every few seconds, lasting anywhere from 15 minutes to all day. My best guess is the monitor isn't shutting off smoothly—it might be disconnecting repeatedly, maybe because of the USB hub inside. Who knows what's going on!
I couldn't locate any USB hub configurations for the monitor; it seems this functionality isn't available.
Start by disconnecting all devices until you observe a shift in performance. It may indicate a malfunction preventing the system from reaching low-power mode. If you spot the culprit, you could modify its configuration through Device Manager.
