Noted the sound near the PC.
I was lying in bed during a storm when my PC stayed on even though it was turned off. A beep came through, followed by another two seconds and then continued for about a minute. It wasn’t a loud sound—it was quite soft. I could hear it when I turned off my phone, and the room went completely quiet. Later, it came close to my window next to the PC. I was curious about what was making that noise. Before getting out of bed, it stopped. Since I’m a bit anxious, I wanted to know if my PC could actually beep when it’s off. Could the hardware do that? Might it be related to a surge protector? Or is it something coming from outside through the window? I’m just trying to understand because even small issues with my PC make me really worried. I’m here to ask since anything strange happening to it is unsettling.
Short beep, then two seconds later another beep. After that two more beeps, then silence for about ten seconds, followed by two in a row. Booted up fine. 3DMark test matched my usual score, so maybe it was something outside.
