Generally speaking, with Win8 or 10, the configuration process finishes in under an hour from a blank drive to a fully operational system with all updates, drivers, and necessary programs installed. I’ve stored all my data on non-boot drives, so I don’t need to back anything up.

Just like you, I'll reinstall Windows 10 soon. I chose IDE instead of ACHI, didn't let it auto, and it wasn't my fault.
