Hello everyone,
I'm struggling to grasp this overclocking guide. My main problem is the delay while playing a game with full Ultra settings on Runescape, while using a web browser on my second screen. The display becomes very unresponsive—like it freezes when I scroll, then resumes after a short pause. I attempted to boost my computer's performance through overclocking, but it didn't resolve the issue. When I'm not playing, the browser works fine and I can browse regularly. This suggests the problem lies in a specific part of my system. I recently assembled this high-end machine.

Details about the hardware:
- Intel Core i7 6700K
- Current core speed: 4.6 MHZ
- RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws v Series DDR4 3000 PC2400 4x8 32GB
- Latency: 15 clocks
- Model: Asus Z170-A
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 TI
- Cooler: Corsai H115i water cooler
- Storage: 2 SSDs (500gs & 120gs) and 1 HDD (2TB)
- Power supply: 850W
- DRAM frequency: stays below 1069.6 MHZ

I believe I'm not utilizing my computer to its full capacity.

The issue seems to stem from your internet connection or the server you're using, rather than your computer's settings.

What is your current resolution setting? The CPU seems to be running at 2133mhz, but you can try boosting it to 3000mhz in the BIOS while overclocking the CPU to determine if this improves or worsens the lag.

What resolution are you using? The RAM seems to be running at 2133mhz, but you mentioned you can overclock it to 3000mhz. Have you checked if increasing the frequency in the BIOS while overclocking the CPU improves or worsens the lag? Yes, I've tried that, but every time it fails to boot. I've been trying to solve the issue for a long time without success.
