I initially connected four monitors to my PC. Two 27-inch screens at 144Hz and 1440p via DisplayPort, plus a 34-inch screen at 144Hz and 1440p, and a 4K TV at 60Hz. The 34-inch and 27-inch models were linked through DisplayPort, while the TV used HDMI. After replacing the 34-inch with a new 240Hz 1440p OLED monitor, Windows Display settings labeled the TV as a disconnect display. Switching to extend mode causes it to flash before reverting to disconnect. All monitors functioned before the new setup. I've adjusted resolution and refresh rates without success. The only workaround is using one monitor as disconnect display, then switching back to extend mode, but losing that setting. Others report similar issues without resolution. I've run DDU and reinstalled everything, but it still doesn't work.

Check for a firmware update on the TV or consider using an iGPU for a monitor that doesn’t require high performance.

I’d likely agree to use the igpu, but I don’t want to put too much strain on my system. Yes, I already have one and have updated the firmware. I just found out about disabling DSC (display stream compression), but I’m trying to see if it’s possible to turn it off on the monitor without changing the firmware version from DP 1.4 to DP 1.2. Any advice would be really helpful.
