Hello, I'm setting up a PC using a B660M-A Wi-Fi card from MSI. When trying to install the CMK32GX4M2D3000C16 RAM, it only works with one of the two sticks. Probably it wasn't supported at all... Should I replace my RAM? My system has an Intel Core i5 12400F GTX 1660.
Hey, the setup is at 3000MHz and both sticks are functional. I’d consider tweaking BIOS settings, though it looks like MSI blocked me from doing so—boot shows a delay of about half a second before Windows loads.
The feature was set to active by default; I'll attempt to turn it off to check its functionality.
Try resetting the CMOS by removing the battery from the motherboard. Check for a clear CMOS jumper—usually two pins that can be shorted. Always disconnect the computer beforehand. If no jumper exists, simply hold the power button down while the battery is removed and the device is unplugged.
