Im preety sure its a custom build and without the gpu in question its not making da beep The mobo is gigabyte ga-ma78gm-s2h Edit: im darn sure the bios went bad if thats the case for hold long do i wait for it to re-flash? Edited March 18, 2024 by nvidio860 another qeustion of similar kind popped up
It’s not possible to delay the BIOS update. Updating a BIOS is performed manually, often needing direct access to the system. You might try taking out the coin cell from the motherboard and disconnecting the power cord from the wall, then wait for a single long beep to see if it returns to the default settings. Checking the manual can help interpret any error messages it displays.
Gigabyte claims the situation is that my motherboard has dual BIOS; if one fails, it restarts to the working one and repairs the faulty one. They also suggest that power through the damaged GPU die caused the beep. Edited March 19, 2024 by nvidio860 (note: typo)
