Hey, your PC seems to be having some issues. It stopped responding after a loud low-pitched noise, and now it won’t work at all. Someone might know if it’s still functional or needs repair.

Typically the alarm indicates the issue. Which computer are you attempting to restore?

It’s not possible to delay the BIOS update. Updating a BIOS is performed manually, often needing direct access to the system. You might try taking out the coin cell from the motherboard and disconnecting the power cord from the wall, then wait for a single long beep to see if it returns to the default settings. Checking the manual can help interpret any error messages it displays.

Gigabyte claims the situation is that my motherboard has dual BIOS; if one fails, it restarts to the working one and repairs the faulty one. They also suggest that power through the damaged GPU die caused the beep. Edited March 19, 2024 by nvidio860 (note: typo)

Received a speaker for the Mobo and encountered this alert: beep.....beep..........beep..... (one dot equals one second) Mobo logged my first reply.
