Not scheduled for PC release of Tomb Raider Definitive Edition
PC is the top choice. If you're not satisfied with the PC version, consider adding ENB.
The game's overall quality isn't the main concern. What counts is the improved visuals on consoles in the final edition, which wasn't originally intended for PC. The PC build still appears solid, though details like foliage and environmental effects need attention. I have the PS4 version, but the file size remains too large for easy sharing. Clearly, it wasn't a reworked PC release—it's something else entirely.
It looks like the software is compatible only with DirectX 9.
On the Xbone it operates at around 30 FPS. The PS4 supports up to 60 FPS, though it may occasionally fall as low as 30. Visually, the experience seems comparable to the PC version. Personally, I believe they can maintain their "Definitive Edition" status. It runs smoothly in 1080p on both platforms, which highlights just how a modest upgrade it is.
I hadn't realized there were ENB mods for Tomb Raider. It's time to apply them and replay the game with improved graphics! PC gaming is great because the titles run smoothly, even if they don’t have the highest frame rates. The definitive version isn’t necessary since the PC build already looked impressive, just a minor tweak. From what I see, adding an ENB mod transforms the visuals—just like it does in Skyrim—making the world feel more genuine and immersive.
