My Acer V193HQV monitor is listed with a 75 Hertz refresh rate, but the settings I see only show 60. I’m checking the first and second pictures for more details.
I’m considering overclocking it myself but don’t have software like EVGA PrecisionXOC or MSI Afterburner installed. My only GPU is an Intel G41 Express chipset.
Do you know of a way to adjust my monitor’s refresh rate to match the advertised 75 Hz?
Also, if it can’t handle it, what should I do to reset the refresh rate?
Thanks in advance,
-HybridWolf

The Intel iGPU restricts refresh rates to a maximum of 60Hz. To exceed this, you'll require a separate graphics card.

Which GPU is closest to your Intel G41 and can reach 60+ Hz in your setup?

Is there someone specific you're referring to, or should I clarify what you mean by "closest in line"?

HybridWolf :
The first model that predates the G41 is considered the closest in line.
I'm not entirely sure the question is clear—it's a mobile GPU, so you're trying to upgrade the GPU, which is limited by your CPU capabilities.
I think the second generation core onward should support it, or at least a GTX 710, with about 90% confidence it would work.
