I received the new 2666MHz RAM but it only works at 2133MHz. Whenever I adjust anything related to the RAM, whether changing DOCP or manually altering speeds, my PC won’t function properly—I either can’t power on, or I’m shown an error message about overclocking failure. What should I do? Am I missing something? My motherboard is an Asus Prime B350m-A.
make and model details for the CPU, motherboard, and RAM are provided.
Ryzen has a history of RAM issues, so if your RAM isn't listed in your motherboard's QVL, it's likely you didn't achieve the rated speeds. I only managed 2933 on my 3200MHz Trident Z RGB. Consider updating your BIOS if you're not using the latest version.

I would perform a bios update for the motherboard and attempt it once more.

download the file and unzip it onto a USB drive. reboot the system. enter BIOS settings and apply the EZ-flash update. the process should resemble the video provided: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3E1wfOIWJ_I. When uploading the BIOS to your PC, can you simply copy it to the USB in FAT32 format?
