They're essentially correct. The Windows 10 key was an OEM product, valid only for the original motherboard. For Windows 8, you can obtain drivers from Samsung. Insert the USB drive and when prompted about installation, direct it to the appropriate folder on that device. Windows will then recognize the drive.

This doesn't change anything. Using an older Windows 7 Pro disk or the key allows you to upgrade using the installation rights, resulting in Windows 10 Pro.
