I owned a Ryzen 7 1700, an MSI B350M gaming pro, and a TeamForce Vulcan 16 GB DDR4 3000 RAM setup. Initially, I managed to push my RAM up to 2933 MHz at CL14, paired with a CPU overclock of 3.9 GHz. Recently, I swapped in the R5 3600, which significantly improved performance in games. However, I struggled to push RAM beyond 2400 MHz consistently. Eventually, I opted to default my CPU overclock settings to see if it would help the memory. Adjusting BIOS and Ryzen Master for memory-related changes helped, but the system still wouldn’t post. It’s possible the issue stems from a BIOS quirk since I updated my BIOS before installing the 3600. Also, I don’t have any other DDR4 RAM available to test at the moment.
