I'm working on connecting my nzxt x53 to the msi mag b550 gaming plus board. Both raidiator fans are plugged into the two 4-pin CPU fan headers, but the 3-pin pump tach cable doesn't match the header shape—your motherboard has a 3-pin pump fan in an L configuration instead of a straight line. Any advice would be really helpful.
Your interpretation is incorrect. The left fan header corresponds to the CPU, the right one to the pump, and there are jumper connections involved. Further down on the right side, there are two additional fan headers; you can utilize one of them for the pump.
