I was playing Oxygen Not Included and noticed my frame rate wasn't hitting 60 fps. After turning on afterburner, I checked CPU, GPU, and RAM usage—everything stayed under 100%, and RAM was well below its maximum. I’m not sure what’s causing the low FPS despite those numbers. It probably has a bottleneck somewhere.

driver issue could also be the case, as the GPU isn't reaching 99%. I faced a similar problem with my 5700xt, which was fixed by adding a secondary power lead from the PSU and skipping the Y split on the cable. However, your good temperatures suggest a driver problem might be more likely.

What level of delay are you experiencing?
I've refreshed my graphics card driver, but it hasn't resolved the issue.

Did you perform a new installation of the driver? After that, did you download the driver from NVIDIA?

I just entered GeForce Experience and installed the newest game driver. I didn't perform a fresh installation.

Use DDU then reinstall. Download the driver from nvidia first. Disconnect from the internet to prevent Windows updates from interfering with the installation. This approach might work.

You're not familiar with the game, but have you looked at the FPS ratings from other players? It might be related to the game itself.

I checked the driver and reinstalled it, but nothing changed. I noticed the Markipliers series still runs at 60fps despite having a larger colony with more people. I’m not sure if it’s the game itself or something else. I might try running the game through GeForce Experience or reinstalling on my SSD to see if that helps. It seems the issue isn’t with the game, as it worked on my Athlon A6 laptops with an IGPU.

I checked the developers forum and found users with 1070's and 1070ti models experiencing low FPS, which might indicate a game problem.
