I recently changed my AB350 Pro4 from the Ryzen 5 1600 to the 5600x and updated the BIOS to version 7.40 to match that upgrade. I also switched to a WD SN850 and managed to install Windows successfully. Initially, everything worked fine with the drive and system until I attempted to restore SATA functionality and encountered an issue with the M2_1 port becoming unreadable. I confirmed the port was indeed problematic by testing it with a NVME drive on my laptop. While there’s a download for Windows + Intel Optane, it doesn’t seem to work as expected. I have the choice to load my existing drive in and install AMD chipset drivers or use WD software, but I’m unsure if there’s a straightforward solution. For context, I’ve tried CSM both enabled and disabled, and checked for M2 options on the device, but it wasn’t available. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I can't start the desktop on the NVMe drive. No devices are connected to the PCIe4 slot, and nothing appears in the M2_1 port no matter what I do. I also attempted to boot into Windows from my old drive, but the WD NVME still didn’t show up in DiskPart. During my initial checks for the SATA problem, I tested all SATA ports that should work, but it didn’t help.
