So, my M.2 somehow not detected. This issue occur out of nowhere. Here are the scenario regarding the issue than happen: 1. I boot up pc 2. Logged into windows 3. PC black screen then it restart automatically (out of nowhere) 4. When PC boot up it keep going to BIOS because it can't detect my M.2 NVME for windows Anyone know what is the most probable cause? Is it because of the mobo m.2 socket faulty or M.2? I am still speculating, I personally can't test which is one the cause becuase I don't have multiple ssd/mobo to test it out. I need to fix it ASAP because it is also my workstation note:This issue happened 2 times. For the first time somehow the issue got fixed by itself and M.2 was detected. But not for the second one
It seems the M.2 SSD might not be functioning correctly. The best approach would be to test it in a different setup or replace it with a new one.
Likely the NVMe issue is present. The CMOS reset didn't help, so the chance of a M.2 failure might be increased.
If the M.2 isn't recognized by the BIOS, it's likely the device or the port itself is the issue. The M.2 is probably faulty, making the slot less likely to be the cause. Given that this has happened before, the problem is more likely with the M.2 unit. To confirm, you'd need to test the SSD in another system or replace it temporarily.
