Hello, I understand you're having issues with your ASRock Rack X470D4U. The system isn't responding properly—IPMI access works but doesn't show a BIOS version, inventory appears empty, and the web KVM connection shows no signal even when using a monitor. Have you checked the power connections and ensured the monitor is properly connected via VGA? Also, verify that the BIOS is updated and try restarting the system to refresh the inventory. Let me know if you need further guidance.
Checking the debug LED status and confirming the current CPU and RAM usage.
The debug LED isn't displaying anything. My system has a Ryzen 7 3800X processor. For memory, I'm not sure since I'm using an older pre-built setup. I know I have two 8GB sticks, including one from G.Skill.
I just completed the task, no changes were made. If you're unsure, the debug indicators should highlight any CPU problems.
Check if the system uses the correct BIOS version listed on the sticker.
I updated the situation by taking out both RAM sticks and putting one back in a blue slot. Now the debug indicator is showing the countdown.
I believe swapping the RAM helped fix the issue. Regarding the blue and white slots, the difference likely relates to their placement or function—possibly one is for a specific module while the other is standard. Your setup changed from using both white slots to having only one in a blue slot.
