You have a Pentium Dual Core T2080 laptop with 32-bit Windows 8.1 and 2 GB RAM. For racing and shooter games, look for titles compatible with older systems—many classic or retro games work well. Free options include games like "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City," "Metro Exodus," "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare," or "Assassin's Creed II." Check sites like Steam Community, GOG, or the official game websites for free demos or trials.
Hearthstone could be a League of Legends or Dota 2 alternative. I’m not familiar with many FTP games.
I’d say one of my top favorite titles is Terraria. Although it isn’t completely free, it’s quite affordable at around ten dollars. It’s very user-friendly and I’ve spent a lot of time playing it. In my view, it’s definitely worth the investment. When it comes to FPS games, CSGO seems to be one of the more accessible options that are free. For racing games, I don’t recall finding any that are both easy to play and free. Most racing titles I know tend to be quite demanding and might not run smoothly on your system.
Playing old NES and SNES ROMs can be quite enjoyable. For NES, Mesen is a good choice, and for SNES, Snes9x works well. Diagonal Mario 2 offers a challenge if you're comfortable with tough levels and annoying enemies. Remember to obtain your ROMs legally—don’t just download them without permission, or you might face legal issues from Nintendo.
CSGO isn't launching because my graphics setup doesn't meet the necessary standards.
