Hi everyone!
I'm a noob when it comes to radiator placement and thinking of airflow. Also I don't want to stumble into the world of custom liquid cooling yet.
Left out other parts of the build as they are not necessary for my question.
Here are the parts:
CPU:
Intel Core i7-6700K 8M Skylake Quad-Core 4.0 GHz
(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6819117559)
CPU Cooler:
Corsair Hydro Series H100i v2
(http://www.corsair.com/en/hydro-series-h...cpu-cooler)
Motherboard:
ASUS ROG MAXIMUS VIII RANGER Socket-1151
(https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/MAXIMUS-VIII-RANGER/)
GPU with Liquid Cooling:
MSI GTX 1080 Sea Hawk X
(https://www.scan.co.uk/products/msi-gefo...dro-h55-ai)
Case:
Cooler Master Cosmos II Ultra Tower
(http://www.coolermaster.com/case/ultra-tower/cosmos-2/)
Questions:
I'm unsure if this build will be any good thinking of the two different radiators...
Is it OK to install GPU radiator on the back of the case and CPU radiator on the top of the case? Will airlow be OK and will this fit in the case?
Here is an example of what I mean:

I'm happy to change the case if this isn't possible.
Thanks in advance!
If you have plenty of airflow coming in, you should be fine w/ a mounting like the one shown. However, there are far more WC friendly cases available today that didn't exist when the Cosmos II was released. I would personally be looking at another chassis. Phanteks and Fractal seem to pretty popular these days for different budgets. There are plenty of others too. I'll admit I'm not a huge fan of AIO kits vs. full custom, but I do have a Corsair H60 still in service now after 4 years or so. I just use compressed air to clean out the radiator fins once in awhile. Any other questions, don't hesitate to ask.
FrankenDesign:
I completely don't want a radiator in my case at all. Anything that might leak water is going to end up on the wall, except for the chassis or the parts that can drip, which would just fall over in a puff of blue smoke if a drop hits it. Still, I'm planning to use it for this build.

The situation described involves managing airflow and choosing a case that accommodates both performance and aesthetics. There are many options now compared to when the Cosmos II was released, offering more WC-friendly cases at various price points. Popular choices include Phanteks and Fractal for different budgets, along with several others. While I personally prefer full custom builds over AIO kits, I still have a Corsair H60 running after four years. I occasionally use compressed air to clean the radiator fins. Any further questions are welcome.
There appears to be ample room to accommodate your requirements. However, it won't remain completely quiet if that's important. Choosing the case type often depends on personal preference. I've previously built a PC with an 800D and used 250D Corsair cases before; the build quality met my expectations.
I used a Corsair 750D and discovered the 760T bigh tower doesn't support a 120mm in the rear without an adapter. Thanks for your assistance! I'm likely to purchase some Noctua fans for the front.
Great to have a match for your requirements. Hope you're willing to share some images if you're interested.
