Looking for reliable options within your budget? Popular choices include models like the ASUS TinkerBox 5G, TP-Link Archer AX530, and Netgear Nighthawk R7000. These are well-reviewed and fit common price ranges.

I don’t focus much on consumer router products, so I can’t give a strong suggestion. For the prosumer segment, the Ubiquiti USG-US is a good option. If you require more than seven ports, consider a 16-port switch, though costs may rise.

It's a device that directs data packets between networks, similar to a regular router but often integrated into a larger system for internet connectivity.

Many prosumer and enterprise routers offer just one LAN port since they’re typically connected to a switch. They can handle VOIP if your ISP provides a phone number. There’s no built-in Wi-Fi, which is why APs are useful but this model is designed for small offices. I’m planning to purchase one for my parents’ home soon. For advanced features, you could opt for a more complex setup. It supports gigabit speeds and multiple WiFi standards (a/b/g/n/ac). It also seems capable of mesh networking, allowing you to extend coverage with compatible repeaters.

1) yeah first one is no go then as its already costs 110~ here and + switch and no wifi which is 100% needed eeem not sure. 2) not totally needed but as for +70 eur for those features + wifi its could be an ice choice If I would go with a first one for 110eur~ what would I need for a set up ?

If your sole aim was internet access, you'd need a router, a switch (ideally with PoE), a Wi-Fi AP (or two or three), and a tool for managing client connections such as the Ubiquiti Cloud Key. The prosumer market quickly becomes costly.

Oh yeah, it’s not too tough for what you’re dealing with. The regular router works fine in the far room, so I might just use a cheap one as an access point to improve Wi-Fi. Best would be to get a switch, but there’s nowhere to plug power.
