I added my GPU to check functionality but can't extract it anymore. I've pressed the locking clip to release it, though the issue persists IMG_7181.HEIC.

the locking clip appears fine. some users didn’t understand its purpose and removed it without issue, but it shouldn’t harm the mobo—just pull it out and reinsert it.

The PCIE lock clip might be a bit tricky to handle. Using high-end motherboards and large GPUs can make it tough to get the clip onto them.

Some recent motherboards include a "remote" release switch you can activate to open that mechanism... key factors to think about before purchasing a board
