I once preferred VMware but now rely more on VirtualBox because it allows me to relocate VM windows easily. (I turned off Python support).
I'm unsure about the problem you're facing. Check the Event Viewer Administrative View for any errors.

I just changed the appearance of my PC to a new version of Windows 11 Pro 25H2, and the issue is gone.
